1. Refrigerator

A refrigerator is usually the storage for food and leftovers. For this reason, it will generate foul smell, stains, and tiny particles of food. It is advisable that you clean your refrigerator at least once a week.

One way to sanitise the inside and outside of the refrigerator is to use a solution of baking soda and white vinegar. Spray the solution on its corners and walls and even in the drawers. Wipe them with a clean, wet cloth. This will make your refrigerator clean and shining.

For foul smell from the fishes, you may put a baking soda on a baking sheet or bowl. Then, place it inside your refrigerator. Let it stay overnight. It will absorb the foul odor and freshen it. Meanwhile, use a damp cloth with a dash of baking soda to remove the fingerprints on the outside of your stainless steel refrigerator.  Also, keep in mind not to use disinfectants in cleaning your refrigerator. It might poison your food.

Another thing to consider is to clean the space behind your refrigerator. You may pull out your refrigerator and mop the area. Use a vacuum in removing the dust of your refrigerator coils.

2. Dishwasher

To sterilise your dishwasher, you need a cup of white vinegar. Place it in a bowl and put it on the upper rack of the machine. Then, run it through a hot-water cycle. This can remove the grease and dirt of the dishwasher. Also, it deodorises the dishwasher removing unwanted odors.

3. Electric/Gas Cooker

Among the cleaning tools that you can use to sanitise your cooker are vinegar, soapy water, warm water, and baking soda. For its door hinges and frames, and the space between double cooker, you may wipe them with vinegar or soapy water.

4. Microwave

There are two ways to clean your microwave. First, get water and put in a microwaveable bowl. Let it boil inside the microwave. This will steam loosen any rubbish, stains, grease, and slime in the microwave. Then, wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

To clean the water chamber of your coffee machine, you make a solution of one part vinegar and two parts of water. Fill the water chamber with the solution and run the machine for a few minutes. This process will remove tiny particles and mineral deposits in your coffee machine. Meanwhile, to remove the taste of vinegar you may run the chamber with water twice.
